Our Teacher | Persuasive Faith

Hi there. My name is Rick Harvey. I am the teacher of the Persuasive Faith class. I have been teaching the bible in one form or another, in one context or another, for about 45 years. Recently I was asked by our church pastors to launch this new class on the credibility of the Christian faith. So, as of the fall of 2014, we are engaged in this new adventure.

You may wish to know a little bit about me. I am married to Mary, and have been for over 40 years. We have five adult children, and seem to be adding grandchildren on a regular basis. We live in Oklahoma, where I have for years put bread on our table by operating a small paint contracting business. In the past I have also served as a pastor and worked in construction and sales. While I have been a layman most of my life, the study of the Scriptures, of the Christian faith, and of the church has been my great passion. The things I have learned I love to share with others as God provides the opportunity.
